Midge2

We used the wing from Midge but built a longer fuse with an OS 40 four stroke. We can move the wing between Midge and Midge 2 easily as it is just attached with two wing bolts.

Shortly after this picture was taken the motor died and my dad had to try a downwind landing deadstick. Midge2 landed but much too fast and the left wheel caught on the grass and it cart wheeled. My mom caught this awesome photo!

Luckily no serious damage - just a bent undercarriage leg!

See www.spadtothebone.com for more details of all SPAD planes.
